After having closed the comments-feature on my blog, I decided to give Akismet a try. Akismet is a WordPress plugin, which claims to protect you from comment-spam. The service is basically free for private use, but you can donate a small amount if you like. Let’s see how good it does its job.

This is done quite easily. Just add the following line to your /etc/apt/sources.list file:
